Ford Perkins F3.144, 3cyl diesel engine, c/w all ancillaries. 002800981 / CKR137 stamped into the block. Seen to start easily and run well prior to removal. Obviously this is a very old engine, and its been unused for sometime, however when tested it was seen to tickover smoothly, no excess breathing or smoke. When revved it did’hunt’ quite badly initially but seemed to settle down as it warmed up. Starter motor is included with i, but very tired. We did get the engine started with it but its pretty slow. Removed from a running, driving, 2wd, Year 1959 Fordson Dexta’live drive’ tractor. Collection by appointment From South Godstone Surrey RH9 8JH (M25 Jctn 6).
