1963 Ford 4000 4140 DIESEL Industrial tractor loader 4 speed shuttle shift NICE

For sale here is a nice running diesel ford industrial 4140 tractor with loader. The tractor starts right up and runs well, minimal smoke for a diesel of this age, truly a great runner. The machine is in overall good shape, doesn’t look beat on by any means for such an old machine (1964). Bucket has had a bunch of welding and strengthening done with no holes in it, very very nice. Diesel is a ford 4 cylinder 2.8l 172ci with glow plugs. Appears to have been stored indoors for quite sometime. Power steering works, clutch feels good. Brakes are weak and need adjustment or replacing. Shuttle shift (reversing transmission works well). All hydraulic cylinders on this tractor are tight with no leaks at all. Bucket curls and goes up and down very nicely, is tight, and has enough power to lift the whole machine off the ground. The undercarriage of the tractor has miscellaneous small leaks. Functional working muffler, not loud. Rear tires are really good with good tread and insane looking wheel weights. Specs are 56hp for the engine. Working 3 point hitch. Tractor factory weight is 3600# plus around 1500# for the loader. Plus another 2000# or so for the wheel weights right and left. Tractor total weighs around 7500#. This tractor is just too big to use around my property. EASILY FITS ON A FLATBED OR HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENT TRAILER.
