Cat 3024C (same as) tag # is HR512454. This came out of a small JCB telehandler with low hours and was updated with the improved head gasket kit, then put in inside storage for the last 10 – 12 years. It was not ran after the new head gasket install, just stored inside. Engine turns free, was wrapped and ports sealed. When apart for repair, all cylinder walls still had crosshatching hone marks with no ridge at top of sleeve – very low hours.
